This
is a twelve week course taught by the Euless Police Department. The
class meets once a week for approximately three hours per night and is
open to any resident of The City of Euless. The purpose of the course
is to increase your understanding of the mission, procedures, techniques,
problems, dangers and experiences of the Euless Police Department.
To accomplish this task, we will use a combination of lecture, demonstration,
films, hands-on participation, and other means to place you in the shoes
of today's police officer. In this course you will get to meet many
of the police officers who serve this community, be able to participate
in ride alongs, and be exposed to the city through the eyes of a police
officer. This course is not designed to make a police officer out
of its students, but provide them with a great insight into the workings
of your police department.
